“Creativity is contagious, pass it on.” – Albert Einstein - This quote encapsulates my approach to the arts and fuels my passion for arts engagement.

After I graduated in 2008 as a documentary photographer. I quickly realised that being in arts spaces is where I belonged, however, soon after that I realised that not everyone feels they can be in arts hubs, centres, galleries, theatres or alike. So, I worked on changing that.

Working with a charity renowned for letting kids take over museums and galleries across England and Wales, I project managed a national event called, Takeover Day – these events were integral to the museums and galleries too, they were a day of learning and understanding their audiences.

Now I work in a different sphere, working as a Citizen Engagement Manager at the Senedd. My role works closely with the Members of the Senedd to establish channels of communications between them and the citizens of Wales affected by political issues. People with lived experience can connect with decisions makers.

Prior to becoming the Chair of Trustees at TEAM CC, I was a trustee for 9 years at the Welsh Refugee Council. Serving as a general member of the board and vice chair while upholding the NOLAN principles. My motivation to move to this board is fuelled by a passion for the arts and engagement, something that is clearly at the forefront of the aims of TEAM.
