Shwmae, I’m Phil.

I’m all about communication, collaboration and connection, so I’ve always been drawn to the arts.

Theatre in particular has been an important part of my journey with chronic illness and reconnecting with the world after four years housebound.

Theatre helped me rebuild my confidence and improve my mental health by simply stepping into a new space or new idea as part of the audience. I want every audience member to feel the power that it can have for them, regardless of their own story.

Because of my own experiences of just how much theatre can have an impact, I’m keen for as many people as possible to access the arts, get involved in the theatre, and explore their creativity. I truly believe that the arts are for everyone, and I want to do everything I can to support this.

If the past few years have taught me anything, it’s that we’re all more capable than we think we are.
